This flavorful salmon fillet recipe is coated in a marinade of orange juice, garlic, basil and thyme and cooked to perfection. A super easy dinner option that works year round. Try baking it, broiling it, or - before the weather gets too cold - try cooking it on the grill! Bonus Tip: once the salmon has cooled completely, try adding it on top of your favorite salad!
Serving Size: Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Orange Juice
- 3-1/2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1-1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme Leaves
- 6 ea Salmon Fillets (4oz each)
Instructions:
-
Whisk the orange juice, oil, garlic, black pepper, basil and thyme in a large nonmetallic bowl until well blended. Add the salmon and turn to coat. Cover and chill for 1 hour, turning the salmon over once halfway through the chill time.
-
Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Heat a nonstick sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and cook for 2 min. (to prevent sticking, make sure the pan is hot before adding the salmon). Turn the salmon over. Cook for another 2 min. or until the internal temperature of the salmon reaches 145°F.
