
Summer has arrived in the Midwest and with it comes the heat. Cool off this Summer with a cold and healthy drink. Check out this recipe for a Mango Honey Basil Sparkler, a refreshing drink made of mango, pineapple, honey, basil, lime juice and seltzer.
Serving Size: Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 4 oz mango chunks fresh or frozen, thawed
- 4 oz pineapple chunks fresh or frozen, thawed
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 1 1/2 cups seltzer water
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 6 ea fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
- In blender or food processor, combine mango, pineapple, honey and lime juice and process until smooth.
- For 1 serving, add the following into a 16oz cup: 1/2 cup mango pineapple puree, 3/4 cup seltzer water, 1 cup ice cubes and 3 basil leaves.
