On October 1, 2019, [Thorek Memorial Hospital](https://www.thorek.org/) in Chicago acquired Methodist Hospital of Chicago, now [Thorek Memorial Hospital Andersonville](https://thorekandersonville.org/), and [Bethany Retirement Community](https://bethanyretirement.org/). 

Bethany Retirement Community in Ravenswood / Andersonville, Chicago is now getting a new name: Thorek Retirement Community. This Chicago retirement home strives to better serve our residents by offering a safety net of round-the-clock medical care when necessary through their convenient location next door to Thorek Memorial Hospital Andersonville.

This valuable partnership, along with the many services and amenities they have to offer, are what make Thorek Retirement Community the "best kept secret in retirement living in Chicago."

Join us on one of four dates in April for an Open House to see our Chicago retirement community for yourself. Refreshments will be served and tours will be available.

The event runs April 10, 16, 24 and 30 from 10am – 2pm
