Thorek Memorial Hospital is seeking a Manager of the Respiratory Department to plan, organize and direct all policies and procedures pertaining to their Respiratory Services. The candidate we seek will act as a liaison between the departments, administration and the Medical Staff. Must have RRT or RCPT. Bachelors degree and 2+yrs pervious management experience preferred. Job Details:
The Respiratory Therapist administers required respiratory therapeutics and oxygen, performs arterial blood gases, ventilator management and CPR. Other duties include assisting in departmental staff development programs, orientation of new respiratory personnel, maintenance of equipment and assisting in quality assurance and quality improvement studies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of courses required by the American Association for Respiratory Therapy and CPR certification required. CRTT, RRT or eligible; IL RCP License preferred. At least 1 year previous experience preferred.
