Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of nursing care to patients. Continuously assesses patient's needs and responses to medical and nursing intervention. Implements plan of care based on identified needs.
Documents nursing process. Communicates directly with patients and families about nursing care. Communicates patient status to team members. Requires flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume, emergencies, staffing, or scheduling change.
