Free Health Screening
Thorek Memorial Hospital offers a number of free health screens during the course of the year including blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and cancer screening. Information regarding scheduled events will be available in the What’s New and our Calendar of Events sections of our website.
Health Fairs
Thorek also participates in a number of health fairs sponsored by community groups and area businesses. These include sponsored health fairs as well as educational programs designed to inform members of the community about a variety of health issues including high blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, cancer prevention and diabetes.
Volunteer Program
Thorek Memorial Hospital has an active group of volunteers who donate their spare time to assist with a variety of services within the hospital.
