Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment, bring your ID and insurance card, as well as all of your medications.
Is there parking at the South Loop Clinic?
Though we do not have a designated parking lot, there is abundant street parking on both 9th and Wabash Ave. There are also several lots within a block of the office. We promise to do everything we can to get you in and out of the office in a timely manner, in return we ask you to come in 10-15 minutes before your appointment.
How do I get into the building?
Our office is at 850 S. Wabash Ave, just north of 9th. When you get to the door, push "2 1 0" on the call box, and we will buzz you in. The door on the LEFT will "click", pull that one. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, and we are the second business on the left side.
What should I do after hours or over the weekends, if I need to reach Dr. Aleks?
Unfortunately, we are not available after hours. We check emails and answer phone-calls regularly during our business hours and will be happy to address any concerns at that time. However, if you need immediate medical attention, please call 911 or go to the closest ER. Do no wait on getting medical attention. Your health and safety are the priority.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, credit cards, checks. We kindly ask that you have your co-pay with you at the time of the appointment. Unfortunately, we will not be able to see you if you do not.
