The Cancer Care Center has a newly renovated, state-of-the-art Chemotherapy treatment facility, designed to make each patient as comfortable as possible. We not only offer a wide array of Chemotherapy options, we offer Immunotherapy, Biological and Target Therapy treatments as well.
One of our Radiation Oncologists will work with each patient to determine which type of Radiation Therapy is most appropriate. Radiation Therapy can be used alone or in conjunction with other treatments. In certain cases patients have the option to choose Radiation Therapy over surgery, which has been proven, in some instances, to produce results equal to surgery.
Interventional Radiology is an exciting, growing and evolving subspecialty of radiology that uses minimally invasive procedures to treat diseases. The Interventional Radiology Department at Thorek Memorial Hospital offers to our cancer patients - Chemo-embolization, Radiofrequency Ablation and many other unique and innovative treatment options.
